Are you interested in learning more about the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ’s Applied Math Department’s PhD Program? Our goal is for prospective students to be able to meet with the Graduate Chair, Jim Meiss, receive a half-hour overview of the program, participate in a question and answer session on attendees’ topics of interest, and then attend a student panel discussion- all within the timeframe of an hour and a half. Discussion will cover academics, the structure of the program, program requirements, areas of study, campus life & housing, and the Boulder area at large. After the Graduate Chair exits the Zoom meeting at the halfway mark, audience members will be able to converse with a student panel of four incumbent PhD students who range from first-year to almost graduated, who can speak candidly about their experience, from a variety of perspectives. They will be able to answer inquiries about housing, getting started in Boulder, what to watch out for, how to get connected, and even about internship and job opportunities they face on the way out of the program.

Interested applicants should register for the session .
