Sharon (Huan) Wang publishes "Characterization of Cell Subpopulations Expressing Progenitor Cell Markers in Porcine Cardiac Valves" in PLoS ONE
Sharon Wang showed the unique gene expression profiles of several valvular interstitial subtypes. Her work will have deep impact in the heart disease community and showed that a certain subpopulation of cells participates in tissue repair and regeneration.
