Professor Carole McGranahan��together with an international team of scholars, has been awarded a major Independent Research Fund Denmark grant for “The Next Dalai Lama Research Network” project for 2023-2026; the broader research network for this project includes cultural anthropology PhD student Dawa Lokyitsang. The Independent Research Fund Denmark��funds specific research activities within all scientific areas that are based on the��researchers' own initiatives��and that improve the quality and internationalisation of Danish research.
