Bio: Barry served in the Army for nearly 27 years. He became a CPA in 1979 and was one of the first Finance officers to achieve this. Baer served as Director of Public Works for the City of Indianapolis, financial management operator, and advisor, with extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer of public, private, and not-for-profit entities. He and Sue are both active in different social justice causes including child/youth services and homelessness. Barry and Sue jointly received the Alumni Association’s Alumni Recognition award for extraordinary service to CU. Barry is a CU Foundation Trustee and on the Program in Jewish Studies board, and Sue serves on the College of Music board.
