Michael Theodore, associate professor of composition, is also a multimedia artist. His technology-informed work has been presented across the United States, and in Mexico, Trinidad and听Tobago, Greece, Spain, Germany, Sweden, France, Australia, Japan and China. Michael听created large-scale sound/art installations with roboticist Nikolaus Correll and听touring pieces with performance artist Michelle Ellsworth. He is half of the electroacoustic 鈥渉ardcore Americana鈥 project, Batteries Die, with punk-folk artist Tim Eriksen. He听also听released a recording with Glen Whitehead (Psychoangelo/Panauromni) that received a 鈥淭op Ten Classical Music Recordings of 2010鈥 pick from TimeOut Chicago. 听听
