Mustafa Naseem is a Pakistani educator, researcher and social entrepreneur whose interests lie at the intersection of technology, policy and entrepreneurship geared towards solving global development challenges. His recent work has focused on the use of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in global health听and water and sanitation (WASH) sectors. Mustafa was an听ICTD-in-residence at the ATLAS Institute from Fall 2016 until Spring 2018. Previously, he was the founding director of the Innovations for Poverty Alleviation Lab (IPAL) in Lahore, Pakistan. He听received his master鈥檚 degree in Information and Communication Technology for Development听(ICTD) from the ATLAS Institute听on a Fulbright Scholarship, and his MS studies focused on ICTD policy.听After graduation he served as听director of the Innovations for Poverty Alleviation Lab (IPAL), a part of the Information Technology University (ITU) in Lahore, Pakistan. He interned at the FCC, Nokia Siemens Networks and the World Health Organization.听He rejoined CU/ATLAS in September 2017 as ICTD Expert in Residence. He now serves as clinical assistant professor of information at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
