The National Science Foundation has awarded a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship to a ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ biomedical engineering student, a signal of the innovative and impactful research she will perform in the years ahead.
Jessica Fitzgerald received her PhD in Bioengineering from Northeastern University in Boston with a research focus in optical sensors and disease detection.
Two faculty members with the Biomedical Engineering Program have received grants from the Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CCTSI). CCTSI awarded BME Program Director Mark Borden and Associate Professor Virginia Ferguson two
