Kirk Ambrose: “Authenticity”
Kirk Ambrose is associate professor and chair of the department of Art and Art History. In addition to many articles and book chapters, he is author of The Nave Sculpture of Vézelay: The Art of Monastic Viewing (2006) and co-editor of Current Directions of Romanesque Sculpture Studies (2010). He has a book forthcoming next year entitled Monsters in Twelfth-Century European Sculpture and is currently at work on a volume on Portuguese Romanesque sculpture.
