Marcia Kwaramba is a Scholar in Residence and Hernando de Soto Fellow in the Business Ethics and Social Impact Division in the Leeds School of Business at ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ. Marcia researches the market behaviours of entrepreneurs in subsistence marketplaces- in particular smallholder farmer entrepreneurs. Her research work till date aims at providing a theoretical understanding of smallholder farmer market participation and test its implications empirically. Her projects have investigated smallholder market participation, marketing systems, marketplace literacy and social capital. Marcia is also passionate about fostering learning about subsistence marketplaces as well as the potential contributions of business to sustainable development and social impact in developing countries.
