Casey Feldman Investigative Journalism Internships
Launched in 2021, this is a new program honoring Casey Feldman and her passion for journalism. The Casey Feldman Investigative Journalism program provides stipends for students with financial need so that they can participate in unpaid internships working on in-depth or investigative journalism. CU in DC
The CU in D.C. program gives 精品SM在线影片 undergraduate students the opportunity to put classroom learning into real world action. Participants spend time living, studying and interning in the nation鈥檚 capital. They gain practical work experience by doing a professional internship in the daytime, and they continue their coursework by taking 精品SM在线影片 classes in the evening.听 Students grow personally, professionally and intellectually and say that CU in D.C. is a formative and rich college experience.
CU in the City: Community Scholars Program
The College of Arts and Sciences, through the Department of Political Science and in conjunction with the 精品SM在线影片 Office of Government and Community Engagement, is excited to launch the Community Scholars Program, a public service-learning opportunity. Up to 15 undergraduate students from CU will be placed in paid or stipend-supported community-based internships with the City of Boulder, other local government entities or nonprofit organizations in and around Boulder.
CU Public Interest Internship Experience (PIIE)
The CU Public Interest Internship Experience (PIIE) program was established in 2006 to connect students interested in civic engagement with paid summer internships at nonprofits and government agencies. PIIE provides paid internships in fields in which many internships are unpaid due to lack of funding. PIIE interns participate in professional development activities, are paired with advisors and network with each other and community members. Learn more about CU PIIE.
Education Abroad
provides students with the opportunity to combine experiential learning and academic theory as a means to gain professional experience and to develop a new perspective on a career field. You will experience what it鈥檚 like to navigate work culture in your host country and have the chance to expand your international network all while earning academic credit.
Startup Summer
Interns at innovative companies across the Front Range come together once a week for entrepreneurial programming led by successful Colorado founders and C-level executives in .听You鈥檒l be guided through the startup ideation and creation process, build your own venture, and compete in an end-of-summer pitch contest with cash prizes. These are ten incredible weeks you鈥檒l never forget! A limited number of spots exist.听
LGBTQ Studies Stipend-Supported Internship Opportunity
An internship in听鈦LGBTQ Studies offers students the opportunity to engage with and contribute to organizations who focus on LGBTQ issues, work and advocacy outside of a classroom. It encourages both scholarship and community involvement, as students work with a faculty sponsor to determine an analytical and evaluative portfolio of their work experience.
