The 2014 annual 精品SM在线影片 Asian Studies Graduate Association Graduate Student Conference will be held next weekend. This conference features panels of graduate students across the CU campus as well as students from other universities whose research focuses on Asia.听This conference, which seeks to foster cross-cultural understanding of Asia, includes topics that range from contemporary and ancient literature to politics, history, and art.听

This year's keynote speakers will be Professor William听Boltz听of the University of Washington and Professor听Atsuko听Ueda听of Princeton University. Professor听Boltz听will give a lecture entitled "'Why no A-B-C?' What ever happened to the alphabet in East Asia?" on Friday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. in Atlas 102. Professor听Ueda听will give a lecture entitled "Cultural Resentment and Valorization in Postwar Japanese Literary Criticism:听Nakamura听Mitsuo's听'Spirit of Criticism'" on Saturday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Humanities 250.

On Friday, March 7, the conference will be held from 1:00 to 6:40 p.m. in Atlas 102. It will continue on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. in Humanities 250.
