Alumnus from Class of 1954 Visits CULast August, 86-year-old聽CU alumnus Akira Horie (MMktg 1954) visited CAS and聽CU to see what kinds of changes had occurred on campus since his last visit. In 1952,聽Horie was selected as a member of the first class of Japanese聽Fulbright scholars to study in the US. After a distinguished career at Mitsubishi Corporation,聽Horie is enjoying his retirement聽in Kamakura, Japan. He has long聽been a staunch CU supporter and has most recently helped CAS establish a summer internship at Mitsubishi, to begin in May.
