Carson is an undergraduate student in听the Program in Environmental Design, with an emphasis听in planning. His main research interest is housing policy, with a desire听to connect action, equity听and reality.
Carson began his journey with CEDaR as a CEDaR听intern at the end of the Spring 2017 semester. He听worked听as a research assistant for Jenn Shelby, environmental studies PhD听student, by听evaluating data from the Colorado Creative Industries impact on several rural towns in Colorado. He also assisted with CEDaR Director Brian Muller鈥檚 collaboration with MetroLab听by听researching the effect of urban infill on storm-water permeability as it relates to resiliency and infrastructure in Denver. Carson also has integrated his other hobbies with his work with CEDaR; as one of the center鈥檚 student event planners, Carson helps with IT support, marketing, graphic design, event planning and photography.
Carson hopes听to one day work for a city or municipality in the Front Range, a place Carson has called "home" since 1994. He听looks forward to seeing what chasing his听passions will bring to听his community.
