Carson is an undergraduate student inÌýthe Program in Environmental Design, with an emphasisÌýin planning. His main research interest is housing policy, with a desireÌýto connect action, equityÌýand reality.

Carson began his journey with CEDaR as a CEDaRÌýintern at the end of the Spring 2017 semester. HeÌýworkedÌýas a research assistant for Jenn Shelby, environmental studies PhDÌýstudent, byÌýevaluating data from the Colorado Creative Industries impact on several rural towns in Colorado. He also assisted with CEDaR Director Brian Muller’s collaboration with MetroLabÌýbyÌýresearching the effect of urban infill on storm-water permeability as it relates to resiliency and infrastructure in Denver. Carson also has integrated his other hobbies with his work with CEDaR; as one of the center’s student event planners, Carson helps with IT support, marketing, graphic design, event planning and photography.

Carson hopesÌýto one day work for a city or municipality in the Front Range, a place Carson has called "home" since 1994. HeÌýlooks forward to seeing what chasing hisÌýpassions will bring toÌýhis community.
