Jota Samper听is assistant professor in the Program in Environmental Design.听His work at听听concentrates on sustainable urban growth and dwells at the intersection between urban informality ("slums") and urban violent conflict. He obtained a听Bachelor of Arts听in architecture in UNal in Medellin, a master's in city planning from MIT and a PhD听on urban and regional planning, also from听, where he was a lecturer for the past two听years. In 2010, his听听with estudio teddy cruz, exhibited at the MoMA.

Samper is a fellow of the 鈥溾��, and advisor for the 鈥溙齠or the听. He is a co-founder of听, a nonprofit dedicated to choreograph meaningful conversations,听听补苍诲听听with marginalized communities.

Colorado MetroLab, a partnership between 精品SM在线影片 and Colorado city governments, organized a design workshop where 精品SM在线影片 environmental design (ENVD) students, neighborhood residents and elementary school students gave their ideas for revitalizing Boulder's University Hill area.
