Erin Ashbaugh is a 2002 graduate of 精品SM在线影片 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. She returned to her hometown of Rochester, New York after graduating, but was drawn back to Boulder in 2010, and joined the university in a new role in 2012 as a staff member. She worked with multiple departments in the College of Arts & Sciences as a Graduate Program Assistant, and joined the newly founded College of Media, Communication and Information in 2016 where she assisted the Centers for Environmental Journalism and Media, Religion and Culture on a part-time basis. She transitioned to working full-time for the Center for Environmental Journalism and is now the Program Manager where she works closely with the Scripps Fellows in Environmental Journalism and CMCI Journalism graduate students and is grateful to be a part of such impactful programs.

Outside of CU, Erin is proudly raising three remarkable kids (her oldest is a CU Buff!), has led numerous volunteer programs at her children鈥檚 school and in the college, and can usually be found planning some sort of event since bringing people together is one of her favorite things to do. In her free time, Erin loves spending time with family and friends, visits home to upstate NY, hiking, kayaking, a good cup of coffee, and traveling to the coasts. She has taken more photos than she will ever have time to sort thru but taking pictures has been her favorite pastime since she got her first 110 film camera when she was nine, and living in Colorado has provided plenty of scenic backdrops for her to pursue her passion.
