As a Research Associate at the BUENO Center, Kim conducts policy-oriented mixed methods research in support of bilingual students, families, and the teachers that serve them. She previously worked as a paraeducator, in bilingual community programming and adult education, and serving families through Early Head Start, and she currently supports the Congress of Hispanic Educators as an educational consultant and data analyst. Her dedication to combating the institutional inequities that affect bilingual communities is informed by her 17 years experience working and living with Spanish-speaking populations, including her family.
