Study at the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ (¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ) without applying to a degree program! Semester at CU allows international students to enroll in a minimum of 12 credits of undergraduate coursework at the ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ for academic purpose or professional development as non-degree students. Students take credit courses along with degree-seeking students to experience U.S. university academic learning and culture. Our capable staff can help students navigate the CU system and develop a plan to meet their academic goals. Our academic advisors look forward to helping students accomplish their educational goals. Students may transfer earned credits to their home university.

Students enroll one week before classes begin each semester. Enrollment in specific courses is not guaranteed. Some courses at CU—including mathematics, engineering, and language—may be restricted. Proof of completed prerequisites or departmental permission may be required to enroll.

Total scores must include a TOEFL writing subscore of 19 or higher or an IELTS writing subscore of 5.5 or higher. Scores may not be combined.

The full cost of attendance for a semester includes tuition and fees, housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance.

Students need a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma to enroll in credit courses. Students under 23 years of age as Jan. 15 for spring 2024, and not officially admitted or enrolled in a ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ degree program, must submit unofficial copies of either their high school equivalency scores or their high school transcript for review. High school transcripts must include the degree conferral date and must show that students completed a high school degree with at least a 2.0 GPA.
