Spring graduation marks a new beginning for chemical and biological engineers

Graduates display their diploma cases

Over 150 students celebrated earning their diplomas from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering on Thursday, May 9 this past semester. The cermony for both undergraduate and graduate students was held on the west lawn of the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building on East Campus. It featured remarks from Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering Chair Charles Musgrave, Mel and Virginia Clark Professor Emeritus John L. Falconer and graduating students including Silver Medal award recipient Vismaya Bachu, Connor Monticello and Sarah Burns.
