The Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science (CHPS) at the University of Colorado, Boulder seeks to bring together scholars from the sciences and the humanities in order to promote cross-disciplinary communication and to facilitate work done in both areas. The Committee sponsors inter-departmental talks within the University, hosts junior and distinguished speakers from other institutions, and holds an annual conference attended by regional, national, and international scholars. CHPS is also home to the (co) Editor-in-Chief of the , Robert Rupert. BJPS is one of the most prestigious and influential journals in the philosophy of science.
