When I met alumnus Carl Cannon (Jour’75) for lunch in Washington, D.C., last fall, he was still nostalgic for the J-school. I shared my vision for the college and we talked about current faculty research and student projects.

This marks the first issue of our magazine CMCI Now, and I’m excited to share news from our students, faculty and centers. CMCI Now will be delivered four times a year electronically, with a fall print edition delivered by mail as well.
