Tax Cuts &聽Job Act of 2017
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, with tax changes generally effective starting January 1, 2018, affects many areas, including moving expense reimbursement. All moving expenses are now taxable, including moving services paid by CU directly to the moving company and move-related reimbursements paid by CU to the employee.
The PSC and Employee Services are working with University leadership to refine existing procedures and develop new ones. As additional guidance becomes available, we鈥檒l keep you updated on the progress.
