If you're involved in research in听any capacity at the university, we welcome you to our newest training about indirect costs鈥攁lso known as facilities and administration听(F&A) costs.
The development and negotiation of the F&A cost听rate听is a complex process that only happens every 4-5 years. In this training, we will听explain the purpose of the F&A cost rate听and provide an overview of how the rate is calculated using base year expenses.
With our next base year, FY22,听quickly approaching, we look forward to working with units (like yours!) across the campus to gather essential data about research, including spaces, equipment depreciation and library use.
