CU Engage Faculty Director Ben Kirshner was honored听with this year's听Provost鈥檚 Faculty Achievement Award听earlier today,听at 精品SM在线影片's听Eleventh Annual Fall Convocation & Awards Ceremony.

Dr. Kirshner was nominated by the former Dean of the School of Education, Distinguished Professor Lorrie Shepard, and then听selected for the award听by a campus committee of his听colleagues.

In selecting Dr. Kirshner听for this award, the faculty committee pointed to the importance of his听book, . They noted that his听book appeared with an important press and has already won an award.听They were also intrigued by his quantitative and qualitative examination of the ways in which having youth participate in community activism strengthens development. In addition, the committee听appreciated Dr. Kirshner's听work as having both scholarly and practical impact, explained听Provost Russell Moore听in a letter of recognition.
