Erin Siffing is the Deputy Director of the Center for Prevention and Restorative Justice in Colorado’s 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, which diverts more than 600 youth and adult cases each year. For nearly 20 years, her work has focused on diversion and restorative justice program development, implementation, evaluation, and policy. Erin helped oversee the creation of the Boulder County DA’s in-house restorative justice program and the significant expansion of its successful diversion programs, which have become a national model for prosecutor-led diversion. She is involved in numerous statewide and local collaborative efforts at juvenile justice and criminal legal system reform and has served on the Colorado Restorative Justice Coordinating Council and the board of the Colorado Coalition for Restorative Justice Practices, supporting the expansion of restorative justice programming throughout Colorado. Erin has facilitated hundreds of restorative justice conferences and trained extensively at the local, state, and national level on restorative justice principles, practices, and facilitation. Erin grew up in Oklahoma and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law.
