Join the Pathways2Teaching program for a gallery walk with students from Centaurus and Boulder High Schools on Wednesday, May 10, 4:30-6:30 p.m.听at the University Memorial Center Glenn Miller Ballroom.听High school students will present their final research projects from , a concurrent enrollment program for 11th and 12th grade students to explore issues in education, social justice and equity, and teaching as a potential career choice.
听听
Founded in 2010 by CU Denver Professor Margarita Bianco, the Pathways2Teaching program has served hundreds of students in several Denver metro school districts and through an affiliate program in eastern Oregon. Many of graduates are now enrolled in teacher education programs or related areas聽such as social work.

Bianco and 精品SM在线影片's聽Terrenda White, assistant professor of educational foundations, policy and practice,聽have teamed up to expand the program into new schools聽and to broaden聽research on聽recruitment and retention of students and teachers of color in Colorado, with support from a聽. School of Education doctoral students Wagma聽Mommandi聽and Brian Lightfoot have been working with teachers and students this past year to聽examine聽critical issues related to educational justice and help students聽earn聽college credit towards teacher education programs.
