Latino History Project in schools

Brenda Ortiz Torres, a 精品SM在线影片听elementary education student, does not听want other students to feel the way that she did in school 鈥 like she didn't belong. That's why she has joined fellow educators in the Boulder County Latino History Project for the four-day teacher workshop听this summer and why she has already听developed a plan for听incorporating听local Latino history into her classroom curriculum after graduation.听

鈥淲hat I want to take away from this workshop is how to empower my students and how to make them feel included and wanted,鈥 she said.
