Course Description

This interactive course covers both theory and best practices in the new hybrid (combination of traditional (predictive) and Agile (adaptive)) models of managing projects. The course objective is to provide students with the tools necessary to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control and close any type of project. The course content is aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) global recognized standards and the course format helps students learn through weekly lectures (pre-recorded in the online course), open weekly discussions with the instructor and fellow students, quizzes, and through team assignments. Each group will pick a class project to work on throughout the semester and will apply what is learned in the course to real-world project documents.
