News and Opportunities

August 1-4, 8:30 a.m - 2 p.m. in the DLC Collaboratory
The 2022 CU Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) wraps up with final powerpoint presentations in the Gallogly Discovery Learning Center next week.

There are 80 undergraduates involved in research across all CEAS disciplines that will present their findings. Feel free to stop by and check out the exciting research they conducted this summer!

College introduces hybrid work policy

The college introduced new hybrid work guidelines this week, based on guidance from Engineering Staff Council and approved by the college Administrative Council. The policy was announced by Dean Molenaar via email on July 28 and is available on the Faculty & Staff website. If you or your supervisor have any questions or comments, please contact CEAS HR at ceashr@colorado.edu.

Participate in a Q&A panel for new students

Wednesday, August 17. 11:25-11:45 a.m., hybrid
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering is looking for 4-5 current TAs to participate in a Q&A panel for new students. If you are interested in participating in the panel, please email Madison White. Include your name, department, and if you will attend in person or via Zoom.

Just over 1,000 new undergraduate students will be arriving soon, and we need help from faculty and staff to welcome them! We have various volunteer shifts available, from Aug. 9 through the college's Engineering Launch event on Aug. 19. , and be sure to check out both pages for all available shifts.
