Here's how Alghamdi reached the final iteration of his drawing.听

The drawing is an interpretation of the spatial logic and experience of House NA by Sou Fujimoto in Tokyo.

I began the drawing by trying to capture the feeling of being inside聽a space that is comprised of open platforms. Through analysis of the spatial organization and vertical stratification of the building, I imagined myself there and drew how I felt. I used black for the background and the lines in white to reflect how the building fits with its surroundings. House NA is very open and has glazing, and windows instead of walls, which invites a lot of light inside. The reason聽I drew all the platforms in different depths and directions is 产别肠补耻蝉别听别惫别谤测 level of the case study is made up of different platforms on different heights, which can be very confusing at first. However, because there are no walls separating the rooms. Only the difference in height from each platform separates the rooms, and almost the whole house can be seen from the center of it.

I went through many iterations and concepts to find the one that really conveyed how I understood and felt about the building.
