Learn to fall in love with the work, no matter what. If you can't learn to love it, don't do it.
Tell us about your involvement and/or student leadership roles in and/or outside of ENVD.
To me, two things set ENVD apart from other programs at CU and elsewhere: the multi-disciplinary approach and the tight-knit community. Throughout my time here, I was able to learn about art, design, architecture, horticulture, software, electronics, community engagement, woodworking, welding, writing, presenting, and so much more. Not only do you have the opportunity to learn so many different skills, but the open-endedness of the program also allows each of us to pursue our individual passions. Most importantly though, the students and faculty of this program are wonderful people. This program would not be what it is without the professionalism, commitment and passion exerted by almost everyone involved.
What inspired you to come to ENVD when choosing your school?
I was attracted to the multi-disciplinary approach. Not knowing what I wanted to do after school, it seemed like the perfect program to explore many different fields without having to commit to a single one.
What is one of the greatest experiences or lessons from your time at 精品SM在线影片 that you'll carry with you into the next chapter of your life?
The greatest lesson I took away from ENVD was that you should never take on a project unless you're truly passionate about it. Beyond that, I also learned that the simplest solution to a problem is often the best.
Describe one of your favorite memories.
I remember during my PRAXIS course with Marcel, we gave several presentations to the University Hill Neighborhood Association showcasing our project. Even though it wasn't particularly exciting, it was the first time that I really felt like I was doing impactful work in a real-life setting.
If you could say anything to your classmates what would you say?
Don't forget to floss.
What does graduating from college represent for you?
Independence.
What are your plans beyond graduation?
I want to spend some time right after college playing music and traveling, and eventually, I hope to go to grad school at the University of Edinburgh.
