Environmental Design Welcomes Three New Faculty This Fall
Teaching Assistant Professor Susan Atkinson has served as a lecturer at the Program in Environmental Design since 2018. She is an architectural designer, public artist, and founding principal of an architecture and planning social/civic practice focused on the intertwining aspects of sustainability and culture. Her firm鈥檚 work was recently presented at the Venice Architecture Biennale as part of an immersive exhibit showcasing architecture from across Turtle Island. Get to know Susan Atkinson.
Teaching Professor Gregory Crichlow, RA, comes to the Program in Environmental Design from the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Kansas. He received his B.EnvD from 精品SM在线影片 and an M.Arch from the University of Illinois Chicago and is a registered architect. In 2010, Gregory founded Chocolate Spokes Bike Studios, which designs and fabricates human-powered vehicles for everyday use. Get to know Gregory Crichlow.
Teaching Associate Professor Jeremy Ehly, AIA, LEED AP, teaches a wide range of studio and seminar courses that span from foundational to senior capstone product design studios, design-build architecture studios, theory and ethics of design, graphic design, portfolio and 3D modeling courses. Jeremy鈥檚 design-build work with students and community partners have created lasting impact on local Colorado Communities. Get to know Jeremy Ehly.
Teaching Assistant Professor Sara Tabatabaie has served as a lecturer and instructor at the Program in Environmental Design since 2018. She is also a research associate at the Community Engagement, Design and Research Center (CEDaR) at 精品SM在线影片. Sara鈥檚 research focuses on the nexus between community health, design of the built environment and policies that shape human behaviors. Over the past decade, she has worked in neighborhoods of Boulder and Denver on a variety of issues including active mobility, urban greenness, sun safety and integrated ecology. Student Support + Case Management assists students to reduce the adverse impact of challenging situations by connecting them with campus partners, community resources, and support systems.
