CTL’s Fall IntensiveÌý– August 17, 18, 19

The Center for Teaching & Learning supports the development of graduate students as teaching scholars.ÌýCTL's Fall IntensiveÌýis an annual workshop series designed to help you teach at ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ, provide opportunities for professional development, and explore nonacademic jobs. TAs, GPTIs, RAs, graduate students on fellowships, other graduate students, and instructors of all levels are invited to participate.Ìý

Grad+ Writing RetreatÌý–ÌýÌýAugust 22, 23, 24, 25 @ 8:30 a.m. –Ìý12 p.m., CASE, Room E422

Join other graduate students for a writing retreat that will provide the time, community, and accountability to focus on your academic writing goals. Brief programming will be followed by dedicated writing time each day.Ìý.

Grad+ Endurance IntensiveÌý– August 29, 30, 31 @ 9 – 11 a.m. via Zoom

During this three-day workshop, you will learn how to create sustainable habit structures, get an overview on accountability styles, and dive into how your personality type/tendencies influence your productivity. This retreat is a great introduction or refresher to our weekly Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series that are offered in the fall, spring and summer.Ìý.

Graduation Deadlines

August 1, 2022
Doctoral grade changes must be submitted for incomplete courses taken during previous or current semesters.

August 2, 2022
Master's thesis plan students mustÌýsubmit the thesisÌýand Thesis Approval Form to ProQuest by this deadline. The thesis must beÌýÌýfor review and approval by Graduate School staff by the end of the business day. TheÌýThesis Approval FormÌý(TAF) must be uploaded as a supplemental file with the dissertation in order for the submission to be complete. Students whose dissertations are received after this deadline, or those not submitted with the TAF, must apply to graduate at the following semester's commencement.

Funding Opportunities & Deadlines

TheÌýGraduate School Student Travel GrantÌýoffers partial funding for ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ graduate students to present their work at meetings or conferencesÌýoutside Colorado. The Graduate School provides a travel grant of $300 for domestic conferences and $500 for international conferences. The application for travel occurringÌý9/1/22-12/31/22Ìýwill be openÌýAug. 16, 12:01 a.m.Ìý–ÌýÌýAug. 18, 11:59 p.m. (MST).
