GradCO: Proposal Writing: Explaining the Project in One Paragraph

Participants will be introduced to the necessary elements for creating a compelling one paragraph description in this workshop by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. Postdocs and graduate students are invited to a virtual information series on successful proposal development. Jim Mazzouccolo, proposal editor and writing coach for the Research & Innovation Office, will discuss key strategies and practices to enhance your proposal鈥檚 competitiveness. Career Decision-Making Workshop for Graduate Students and Postdocs

Graduation Deadlines聽

March 1, 2023聽

  • Graduate students must apply online to graduate through on the 鈥渁pply for graduation鈥 card in order to have the degree awarded in May. This is required whether you plan to attend the university-wide ceremony or not. PhD students must enter their dissertation title as part of the online graduation application, and the title may be updated until this deadline. This title will appear on your transcript after your degree is awarded.

  • Master's students must submit to the Graduate School a if they have not already done so. Applications follow a workflow process and must be approved by the academic department before they are directed to the Graduate School.听
