Anna Helfrich
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- NUTRITION SERVICES
Anna works to combine her knowledge of nutrition with compassionate and personalized care to help students heal their relationship with food, appreciate self-care, and feel confident listening to their own body’s inner wisdom. Anna's aim is to help students feel understood. She works to gently guide them with evidence-based, sound nutrition advice that aligns with their values and personal health goals.
Prior to joining the Wardenburg team, Anna has supported individuals struggling with disordered eating and those in recovery from an eating disorder at an outpatient clinic. She is also passionate about working with athletes who are interested in sports nutrition. Anna hopes to use this experience to help CU students learn how to fuel their bodies— mentally, physically and emotionally.
Anna moved to Colorado in 2020 from the midwest. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and all things outdoors with her husband, Koby. Together, they love traveling to new places both within Colorado and around the world. They also enjoy spending time with their five nephews.
