Busy Season
- We are wrapping up the busy season; please expect response times to be slightly longer than usual due to the influx of work.

Research Faculty Reminders
- Research Faculty performance evaluations are due back to听resfachr@colorado.edu听no later than September 15, 2023. We will not accept evaluations after this date, and employees without a performance evaluation will not be eligible for merit. Please reach out to听resfachr@colorado.edu听with any questions.
- The eligibility merit date for Research Faculty of September 1, 2023, has passed, and any new hires, rehires, promotions, and transfers will not be eligible for the merit increase on January 1, 2024. Hiring units should plan new salaries accordingly.
- Research Faculty who are eligible for overtime (non-exempt) have been moved from pay group F12 to UOT effective September 1, 2023. This change ensures employees are paid correctly when they record overtime. There is no impact on employees with this change. Please reach out to听resfachr@colorado.edu听if you have any questions.
University Staff Merit
- University staff new hires or rehires with a starting effective date after September 1, 2023, will not be eligible for the campus merit increase for January 1, 2024. Current University staff employees with a transfer, promotion, or base pay increase effective after November 15, 2023, will not be eligible for the merit increase on January 1, 2024. Hiring units should plan new salaries accordingly.
Fall Meeting Requests
- The spring 2023 HRL survey asked departments if they would like to set up a meeting with the HRSC in fall 2023. If you answered, 鈥淵es, I would like a meeting,鈥� you will be hearing from the HRSC in the coming weeks to set up a meeting date and time.
- If you did not originally reply 鈥淵es, I would like a meeting,鈥� but you would still like to schedule a fall 2023 meeting, please send a request to听HRSC@colorado.edu听so that your department may be included in the scheduling process.
Personnel Updates
- Please join us in welcoming our new coordinators, Jennifer Edwards-Saucier and Benny Titelbaum. They made wonderful temporary coordinators; we are so excited to have them as permanent additions to our team!
Action Items
- Review and reply to employee roster emails. In the coming weeks, HRSC will be sending employee rosters to department HRLs for review. Please reply with the following information:
- 1.听 Any fall appointments that are missing and should be hired or reappointed
- 2.听 Any fall appointments that need updates or changes
- 3.听 All summer appointments that should be terminated. Summer cleanup and fall review helps to ensure that employee records are clean, accurate, and paying out properly.听If you have any questions, please contact听HRSC@colorado.edu.
