Audrey Burba is a native of France educated in the United States. She holds a Ph.D. in French from Emory University and a joint appointment in the Department of French and Italian and the Humanities Program at the 精品SM在线影片.

Professor Burba's work explores the intersections of literature, culture, and health in the modern context. Her research focuses on cultural and literary representations of illness and the body in the modern period. Her teaching and research interests include medical history, 19th-21st century French literature and critical thought, feminist theory, women鈥檚 writing, and the semiotics and sociology of culture. For the Humanities Program, she offers courses on visual culture, women鈥檚 artistic traditions, semiotics, and medical humanities.
