Her group aims to control the reacting molecules external and internal degrees of freedom in the quantum regime.

Shuo Sun joined ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ in August 2020 as an assistant professor of physics and JILA Associate Fellow. He studies light-matter interactions at the quantum limit, where single photons can interact with single atoms. These interactions lead to important applications in quantum information science and technology.

Professor Park (Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering) joined ¾«Æ·SMÔÚÏßӰƬ in 2001. His group studies light-matter interaction in nanoscale materials and structures and develops photonic devices based on them, including biomedical imaging and nano-medicine approaches for cancer treatment.

In particular, she focuses on manipulating single and few neutral atoms and the quest to control single phonons in mesoscopic mechanical oscillators.
