“Lights, Camera, IFest!”

Applications to host a booth at IFest 2024 are now open! Join us to celebrate ƷSMӰƬ’s diverse international culture in this fantastic event. This year’s theme is …Movies! So be prepared for an extravagant night full of prizes, fun, and culture. Through IFest, students have the opportunity to represent and share their cultures with others. Through your booth, you can share cultural food, display several traditional artifacts such as artwork and clothing from your country as well as informing guests about your culture and traditions.

The International Festival Committee is looking for CU students, staff, faculty, and community members to represent their culture or background by performing or hosting a booth at International Festival (IFest) 2024!

What is IFest?

  • The goal of the annual International Festival (IFest) is to provide an opportunity for CU cultural groups, individuals, and Boulder community members to share their culture with the CU community. Participants represent their roots with a booth they personalize with their country or culture's local artwork, clothing, literature, games, or other decor and may provide performances and cultural activities as well!

If you or someone you know would like to join IFest by hosting a booth or performing, mark down these important dates on your calendar:

  • Deadline: November 10, 2023
  • Deadline: November 10, 2023
  • : November 30, 2023

Please take particular note of the Food Application deadline. If you hope to host a booth and would like to serve food that you feel is representative of your culture/background at your booth, you must submit your Food Application by November 10, 2023, 11:59 p.m.

When submitting your booth’s Food Application, please remember to submit three recipes as options: one beverage, one main, and one dessert/sweet. This will allow the UMC team to evaluate the possibilities of what can be made, and ensure the group being represented has a food option available.

  • The Food Application deadline is strict. Absolutely no food applications received after November 10, 2023 will be considered.

We hope to have you be a part of our celebration!
