On behalf of Judd Schiffman, MFA student in at CU-Boulder, the Program in Jewish Studies is pleased to invite you to Schiffman's MFA thesis exhibition, BECAUSE IT COULD GET INFECTED, which opens on Friday, November 6th听and runs until Thursday, November 19th, 2015.听听
Judd听Schiffman鈥檚 studio research focuses on his own identity as it relates to contemporary Jewish American culture. His ceramic wall objects draw from diverse sources such as Seinfeld, Philip Roth, historical Jewish artifacts, family history and his own internal dialogue.听 In his thesis exhibition,听BECAUSE IT COULD GET INFECTED,听Schiffman will exhibit 15 handmade ceramic objects including a giant tube of Cortizone cream, a menorah, and a challah on wheels, each accompanied by a 鈥渟piel鈥 which tells the story of the object,
