Beverly Weber attends faculty seminar at USHMM; publishes articles in Feminist Media Studies and Critical Ethnic Studies
Beverly Weber attended the 2016听Silberman faculty seminar at the USHMM, "Jewish Responses to the Holocaust: Teaching through Primary Sources."听
She also conducted research this summer for her current book project on race and racism in the language of human rights; several articles from this project, focused on the German refugee crisis, will be published later this year.听She recently published two additional articles:听鈥淜眉bra G眉m眉艧ay, Muslim Digital Feminism and the Politics of Visuality in Germany鈥 in听Feminist Media Studies听(to be reprinted as well in听Digital Feminisms. Transnational Activism in German Protest Cultures), and听鈥淧recarious Intimacies and Yoko Tawada鈥檚 Europe鈥 in the听Journal of Critical Ethnic Studies.听
