The Program in Jewish Studies at the 精品SM在线影片, in conjunction with the University听Libraries' Rare and Distinctive Collections, is building a collection of archival holdings focused on Judaism and the Jewish-American experience听from roughly the late 1940s to the present.听The material collected听in the 听aims to shed light on the religious, cultural, and social movements of American Judaism as well as on the various philosophies of Judaism and Jewish organizations in the relevant period.

The Innovations in Jewish Life听Collections exist to document the work of the individuals and groups, who transformed and in many cases are still transforming the American Jewish experience in the post-World War II period, and to make that experience accessible to students, researchers, and interested parties of all kinds.听

Gifts to the听Innovations in Jewish Life听Collections help 精品SM在线影片 maintain these unique collections as听robust, living, learning opportunities听for students, scholars, and the wider community in perpetuity. The Innovations in Jewish Life Collections听Fund supports the preservation, processing, and digitization听of materials in the Innovations in Jewish Life Collections.听This fund听also supports student work and fellowships in the archives, providing students with opportunities听to learn about archival materials and conduct original research.


The Mazal Holocaust Collection Fund supports archival processing,听cataloging, and other necessary activities related to preserving the Mazal Holocaust Collection and related collections held at the 精品SM在线影片.


The Jim and Diane Shneer Endowed Fellowship听Fund听supports the听initiative听to make the 精品SM在线影片听a center for the study of American Judaism after the Holocaust. To accomplish that goal, the Fund supports the active effort of building archival resources for research, hosting scholars conducting that research, and supporting听students to learn the skills of information management, archiving, and digital literacy.
