Ryan received a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering and a Certificate in Engineering for Developing Communities. In collaboration with Discovery Learning Apprenticeship Program and the Mortenson Center in Engineering for Developing Communities, his work involved designing small-scale or point of use UV LED drinking water treatment systems. He is most passionate about helping developing communities gain access to clean drinking water and looks forward to beginning a career in this sector after graduation. Ryan enjoys climbing mountains throughout the year in his spare time.
