Emily is a Biochemistry PhD candidate interested in bacterial innate immunity and how it can be used as a tool for learning about the human immune system. She graduated from Swarthmore College in 2019 with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Spanish. When not in the lab, she enjoys reading, hiking, and singing (which does sometimes happen in lab).
