Our research focuses on the development of ultrahigh resolution functional scanning probe microscopies capable of resolving energy transport and dissipation processes at the nanoscale. One of our overarching goals is to establish enabling experimental platforms to facilitate the electrical, thermal, and thermoelectric characterizations of emergent quantum materials and quantum devices at the nanoscale. This can go even further, reaching the atomic and single-molecule level where the transport and interaction physics of elementary carriers and excitations occur. For more information, visit our
