Pranav is interested in investigating interventions that improve the safety and sustainability of rural water systems in Sub Saharan Africa.聽 His research is part of the USAID Sustainable WASH Systems Learning Partnership.聽 Prior to starting a PhD at the University of Colorado, he was at the University of British Columbia, where he conducted research on the reduction of cyanotoxins in drinking water using ultraviolet radiation.聽 During his masters, he was also a Project Coordinator for RES'EAU-WaterNET, where he helped develop a streamlined approach to implementing disinfection in First Nations communities on boil-water advisories, and a Sessional Faculty at Thompson Rivers University, where he taught courses in the Water Treatment Technology Program.聽 Pranav has also spent time in Mexico learning and working on development projects related to appropriate technology and human rights. Pranav is co-advised by Dr. Karl Linden.
