While Ann was part of the group, she graduated from the Colorado School of Mines. After graduating, she accepted a postdoctoral researcher position at NREL. After 2 years, she was an adjunct professor at the University of Denver in the Materials Science department for 1 year. She then took an adjunct position at the Colorado School of Mines for 18 months, before finally returning to the University of Denver as a teaching faculty.
