Evan Bisirri. He is smiling and wearing an orange shirt in the middle of a hallway.

Evan听received his BS and MS in biomedical engineering from Drexel University in 2018. During this time,听Evan听worked at the Children鈥檚 Hospital of Philadelphia鈥檚 Center for Injury Research and Prevention under Dr. Aditya Belwadi where he designed finite element simulations to explore novel motor vehicle safety devices. In pursuit of his master鈥檚,听Evan听also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant under Dr. Amy Throckmorton in the Drexel BioCirc lab. For his master鈥檚 thesis,听Evan听designed fluid-structure interaction simulations to study the impact of device structure, operation, and material characteristics on a collapsible impeller blood pump design for the Fontan circulation.

Evan听is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the 精品SM在线影片 and is a member of the Kaar and Schwartz labs.听Evan鈥檚 research focuses on using protein engineering and single molecule (SM) techniques to study protein-surface interactions.

Outside of lab听Evan听enjoys the gym, hiking, and is an avid beer and mead brewer.
