Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

  • EBIO Writing Lab 
    • EBIO writing instructors help students improve written lab reports, research proposals, essays, or other EBIO writing assignments, honors theses, master’s theses, doctoral dissertations or journal articles.

    • Undergraduate TAs are available to help students taking EBIO 1210 and/or 1230 in the fall and students taking EBIO 1230 and/or 1240 in the spring. 

 
Humanities

The Director of Undergraduate Studies for Humanities, Annjeanette Wiese, offers  recommendations for strategies to succeed in the department.

  • Study and discuss the course materials with a peer from class.
  • Find guides online to help the student understand the basics of what they are reading--in addition to the reading itself. 
  • Annjeanette can provide specific resources for the student, or they can look for resources from instructors at universities.
  • Listen to an audio version of the text while reading along.

 
Languages

  • This state-of-the-art facility supports the study of foreign languages and cultures.
  • A large multimedia library of materials offers foreign language CDs, DVDs, computer programs, (text)books and magazines, as well as offering one of the best computer labs on campus.
