The APS department offers an Astronomy Help Room open to both Astronomy majors and students enrolled in astronomy courses. Students can request help on any astronomy, physics or math course.

Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
- EBIO Writing Lab

EBIO writing instructors help students improve written lab reports, research proposals, essays, or other EBIO writing assignments, honors theses, master’s theses, doctoral dissertations or journal articles.

Undergraduate TAs are available to help students taking EBIO 1210 and/or 1230 in the fall and students taking EBIO 1230 and/or 1240 in the spring.

The Director of Undergraduate Studies for Humanities, Annjeanette Wiese, offers recommendations for strategies to succeed in the department.
- Study and discuss the course materials with a peer from class.
- Find guides online to help the student understand the basics of what they are reading--in addition to the reading itself.
- Annjeanette can provide specific resources for the student, or they can look for resources from instructors at universities.
- Listen to an audio version of the text while reading along.
Languages
- This state-of-the-art facility supports the study of foreign languages and cultures.
- A large multimedia library of materials offers foreign language CDs, DVDs, computer programs, (text)books and magazines, as well as offering one of the best computer labs on campus.
