Description:

We will begin by developing, from simple ideas, the iconic SIR (susceptible, infected, recovered) model in epidemiology.听 From there, we will discuss a variety of other factors, both natural and social,听 that affect the way disease is spread, and will consider how to build these other factors into our model.听 We will research Covid on small and large scales, and endeavor to develop models that reflect the behavior of this real-life epidemic faithfully.
