Dan Goldhamer

Dan Goldhamer鈥檚 professional career spans the public and private sector as a community educator, researcher, and entrepreneur. He currently serves as the County Director of Colorado State University Extension in Denver. In this role, Dan leads a team of instructors and faculty in meeting the needs of learners of all ages in the topic areas of health and well-being, natural resources and sustainability, food and agriculture, youth and families, and economic and community development. Dan has an 11 year career in higher education working at Colorado State University, 精品SM在线影片, and the Harvard Extension School as a Research Associate, Instructor, and Assistant Director. Dan also worked for three years in a regulatory capacity for the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Dan鈥檚 private sector work includes working on organic vegetable farms and founding a consulting firm. Dan started consulting in 2012 and officially founded Horticulture Innovations LLC in 2019. Dan鈥檚 consulting efforts focused on business growth through data analytics, experimental design, quality assurance, standard operating procedure development, product development, and technical sales.
Dan is a lifelong learner motivated by an intense curiosity. Dan graduated from Hampshire College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Agriculture and Community Development. Dan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Soil and Crop Science from Colorado State University. While working full-time at Colorado State University, Dan also pursued a Master of Computer Information Systems and graduated with certificates in Business Intelligence and Business Application Development. Dan is hoping to utilize his new skills in IT and data analytics to strengthen the impact and storytelling of his work with communities and other partner organizations.
